In 1988 I was one of five groups to take part in a Bond Paper Animation project. "Five Witty Stories" was the title of the final proejcts. My animation was titled "Burn Out 88'". I was a senior in High School and completely burnt on the school system. Skating was all I really had on my mind. I was listening to The Doors, The Cult, Agent Orange, Love and Rockets, Tones On Tail and Minor Threat. Since I was a one man team I only outlined the back ground in the cartoon. On the Love and Rockets section I totally over thought the process. Instead of making only two images and alternating them I colored in like 20 frames. It was a fun project none the less. I'm lucky to have been apart of the project. It makes me appreciate the old school techniques and dig my computer that much more. The funny part is while drawing this cartoon I had a full head of hair and now I have none. So, here it is enjoy!
